Mon Dentiste Lajoie adheres to the Programme vert de l’Association des chirurgiens-dentistes du Québec (ACDQ), an initiative aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of dental clinics while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety of care.

With each action, we strive to replace all single-use products with durable and reusable alternatives. All our practices strictly adhere to current infection control and sterilization standards. The clinic's eco-responsible approach in no way compromises the safety or effectiveness of care.

 

  • Our bibs are reusable and disinfected, unlike disposable paper ones.

  • In the treatment rooms, our glasses are sterilized, and our tray covers are disinfected, eliminating the unnecessary use of paper.

  • To help reduce daily waste, you'll find reusable coffee cups in the office.

  • By opting for digital files, electronic forms, and digital communications, we're reducing our paper consumption.

  • We prioritize using larger formats to reduce packaging waste.

  • Our slippers are reusable.

  • We've completely eliminated plastic bags.

  • We offer bamboo toothbrushes upon request.

  • Our children's treats are carefully selected to reduce waste and encourage healthy habits... for their oral health and that of the planet.

We will continue to evaluate and improve our practices in order to further reduce our environmental footprint.
