After practicing for nearly 20 years at a dental clinic I loved, a little voice reminded me of my lifelong dream: to create a clinic that reflects my vision, where patient care, people, and the environment are at the heart of everything.
As they say, it's never too late to make your dreams come true—so I went for it!
Mon Dentiste Lajoie (yes, the name says it all, this clinic is yours as much as it is mine) is a welcoming, unpretentious space where respect for patients and my co-workers is the top priority—a place where you'll feel comfortable, a bit like a home away from home. Here, every smile matters, every action is purposeful, and every detail has been carefully considered for your well-being, that of our team, and of our planet.
Our clinic was designed with ecological values in mind: sustainable material choices, responsible resource management, and a conscious approach to our daily impact. Because a beautiful smile shines even brighter when it's part of a sustainable approach.
I have a very approachable personality and, I've been told, a great sense of humour. I love to travel, cook, and spend time with family. These passions inspire me every day to create an environment where light heartedness, kindness, and a sense of community prevail.

Originally from the Outaouais region, Dr. Marie-Pierre Lajoie returned to Gatineau in 2006 after earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal. Since then, she has been practising general and family dentistry, providing care tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Committed to offering the highest standard of care, Dr. Lajoie regularly pursues continuing education in Canada and the United States. Her advanced training includes periodontics, ceramic restorations (CAD/CAM), orthodontics with clear aligners, dento-facial orthopedics, and the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. In 2026, Dr. Lajoie founded Mon Dentiste Lajoie to create a practice that reflects her values—one where every patient receives personalized care in an environment that combines professionalism, comfort, and a human-centred approach. She is known for her gentle manner, attention to detail, and warm welcome. Caring and attentive, Dr. Lajoie offers a customized dental experience for both children and adults, where patient well-being is at the heart of her practice.

Fanny joined our team in 2026 as a dental secretary. Thanks to her warm approach, professionalism, and positive attitude, she fit right into our already close-knit team from the moment she arrived. Her calm and reassuring tone quickly puts everyone at ease, whether on the phone or at reception.
